Jay Cyn Fabrics

So, big confession, I am a hoarder of sorts. Don't get me wrong, I like to stay organized and I am good at getting rid of junk around the house, but I definitely have a great fabric and paper stash! Well maybe hoarder isn't the right word, maybe collector has a better ring to it. Whenever I see beautiful paper or fabric, I snatch it up. I am often asked what project I am working on to which I have to respond, "I don't have one at the moment, but this sure will come in handy for something". I have found there are some people who get it and just nod in agreement and others who have a slight look of shock on their faces, it's clear they just don't understand. I have rarely regretted my "collecting" abilities. I mean, who doesn't need pretty paper and fabric?

Not sure why, but having a baby always makes me want cute quilting fabric. I am pretty good at quilting, but I think I'd like to take a stab at sewing some summer bloomers and ruffle pants - think Matilda Jane. While browsing the many talented fabric designers, I came across Jay - Cyn and I am in love. The patterns have such a classic look to them and I am really liking the muted colors. Set Sail has been around for a little while, so it may be hard to find these prints, but I'm definitely going to try. Both lines would make darling summer outfits for baby Drue.

There are so many other amazing fabric designers out there, I can't wait to highlight some more and add to my growing collection! Who are you liking right now?
